The company is owned by 19 shareholders and is led by a Board of Directors headed by Prof. A. B. Kasunmu (SAN). The board is responsible for the affairs of the company and is directly answerable to the shareholders of the firm. Prof. A. B. Kasunmu (SAN) - Chairman: A legal luminary, Professor Kasunmu (SAN) sits on the board of several companies, some of which include Chartered Bank, Churchgate, etc. He is the pioneer Chairman of the company. Mr. Joseph S. Tarka (Jnr.) – Executive Director: One of the founding partners of eShekels, Mr. Tarka was previously the Manager, Northern Operations for AIL Securities. He has a degree in History from the University of Jos and his prior work experience spans through the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Clapperboard Television and Telipoint - pioneer private cardphone company in Nigeria. Mr. Tarka was the pioneer Managing Director. Mr. Chinenyen Mba-Uzoukwu: Mr. Mba-Uzoukwu is the General Manager, Microsoft West Africa. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Infographics Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading multimedia companies. With an MBA in Finance, Mr. Mba-Uzoukwu was also the General Manager at Dawn Functions before joining Infographics in 1992. Apagun Kolapo Alaka-Coker: MD, Multinational Group.
